Professional Profile:


Dr Lee Yee Mun graduated in 1992 from the National University of Singapore, and in 1998 attained fellowships of the Royal Colleges of Edinburgh and Glasgow, as well as Master of Medicine in Surgery.

Dr Lee completed further specialist training and received specialist accreditation board certification in Urology in 2003. He then underwent fellowship training at Westmead & St Vincent’s Hospitals in New South Wales, Australia.
In 2016, Dr Lee was conferred the Master of Public Health degree, under the Dean’s Scholarship from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and NHG Clinician-Administrator Award.

Dr Lee has served on various committees at hospital, cluster and ministry level, and currently serves on the Singapore Medical Council Complaints Committee, and as a council member of the Singapore Medical Association.

He held the positions of Adjunct Associate Professor & Principal Lead for Urology with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University, and was previously program director for the Surgery-in-General and Urology Residency programs within the National Healthcare Group
Prior to practicing at Nexus Surgical, Dr Lee was a Senior Consultant Urologist and Director of Endourology at Tan Tock Seng Hospital. He attended to patients with a wide range of general urological conditions, and specialises in urinary stones disease, endourology and advanced laparoscopic surgery.

He pioneered day surgery mini-Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy, and spearheaded several inter-departmental collaborations, e.g. in the management of peritoneal dialysis access, shockwave lithotripsy for pancreatic ductal stones, and surgical management of adrenal conditions.
